Salmon Hatchery Hiking Trip

One Sunday Chantal, Kara, Bryan and I decided it had been way too long since we’d done something outside.  After our usual Sunday Packers watching/ridiculous brunching shenanigans were done we headed to the salmon hatchery near Oak Rige, OR.  Chantal knew there were some trails around there but that was about all we knew…  Adventure!

Of course it was raining so there were some rivers to deal with…

Chantal wanted to jump the river like Bryan.  I seem to remember it not going as well…

This happens more often than you would expect.

Rain or no rain, that was a really fun hike.  If I’m remembering correctly, it ended at the Brewer’s Union in Oak Ridge for dinner.  Mmmmm I love that place.  We always stop there whenever we our anywhere remotely nearby!  It seems like Sacramento area hiking has a lot to live up to…
